Philippa Namutebi Kabali-Kagwa, a LifeLab Associate, is an experienced facilitator, executive coach and storyteller who over the last 17 years, has developed her expertise in the areas of leadership focusing on personal mastery, creativity, and learning. She currently practices as an Executive Coach, Storyteller and Facilitator of Leadership Programmes and Change processes.
Philippa’s coaching practice is based on the belief that when people stand strong in whom they are, they are able to lead with integrity and power. Her approach is underpinned by an integrated view of the human being as a complex system that operates within a complex social system and the human being as a storied being. She strives to help people integrate their cognitive, emotional, physical, spiritual and creative selves, and to bring all of these aspects to bear on their work and social context. Through coaching she helps the client develop new perspectives and practices that facilitate sustainable growth.
Philippa has coached in a variety of contexts – clients in Educational institutions, NGOs, Government and the Corporate sector from South Africa, Namibia, USA, Belgium, France and Israel. She is comfortable doing face-to-face, telephonic and Skype coaching. Philippa is also comfortable facilitating large and small groups. Over the years she has been involved in a number of Executive Education programmes presented through the Graduate School of Business, UCT. Since 2012 she has focused in developing her skill and knowledge in the use of story as a learning and development tool.
